Restaurant Det Glade Vanvid is one of seven locations across Denmark, including Fredericia. The concept is simple: a four-course menu with everything included - food, wine and coffee - where all guests begin the evening together at 6:30 pm. Located in the heart of Fredericia, it has become one of the city's popular dining destinations.

Here, every detail is carefully considered, giving you a complete evening out. The restaurant is set across several cosy and intimate floors, built around a simple philosophy: everything you wouldn't want to do without is included, and everything you might hope for comes as standard.

The menu changes with the seasons, ensuring you enjoy the very best ingredients at their peak. An evening includes an appetiser, three additional flavourful courses, cold-fermented sourdough bread and a dessert to finish.

Vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian and gluten-free menus are also available. Simply let the restaurant know when making your reservation.

Everything Is Included - Even Wine, Coffee and an After-Dinner Drink

Your menu includes a carefully selected wine pairing from the wine bar (including non-alcoholic alternatives), beer, soft drinks, still and sparkling water, as well as coffee or tea and a glass of the chef's selected after-dinner spirit to round off the evening.

Think of it as a small wine tasting that accompanies your meal. The current price is available when booking your table.

Opening Hours and Table Reservations

Restaurant Det Glade Vanvid welcomes all guests at 6:30 pm for the same dinner service, allowing everyone to enjoy the evening together.

Opening hours:

Wednesday-Thursday: 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Friday-Saturday: 6:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Be sure to book your table well in advance, as the restaurant is very popular.

Free parking is available directly in front of the restaurant.

The Story Behind Restaurant Det Glade Vanvid

The concept was created in 2008 by the Koch brothers, Lasse and Michael, who wanted to bring together everything that makes a great restaurant experience: high-quality gourmet cuisine, beautiful presentation and excellent value, with everything included in one package.

Today, Restaurant Det Glade Vanvid has seven locations across Denmark, with Fredericia being one of the newest additions.
