Hannerup Church
The church was consecrated in 1974, as one of the most untraditional churches in Denmark. It is built of wood and glass, as an 'open' church, and forms a quadrant of a bowl-shaped complex. There is a view from the pews, (placed on the sloping floor), to the grass-covered park area around the church. The altar section and the pulpit are located at the lowest point in the open space. A curved wall passing through the interior of the church is decorated with a brickwork relief, carried out on the basis of the bricklayers' own imagination.
