This winter, you can go ice skating right in the heart of Fredericia.

The ice rink at City Hall Square opens on 20 November 2026 and is open until 17 January 2027. Both children and adults can lace up their skates and enjoy a winter activity in the Triangle Region, whether you come with family, friends or colleagues.

Ice Skating for the Whole Family

Whether you’re new to the ice or already confident on skates, there’s room for everyone. If you’ve never been ice skating before, you can take it at your own pace. And when you need a break, Fredericia’s pedestrian streets, cafés and shops are just around the corner.

Opening Hours for the Ice Rink at City Hall Square

The ice rink is open from 20 November 2026 to 17 January 2027.

November and December: The ice rink is open every day from 10:00–20:00. It is closed on 24, 25 and 31 December.

January: Monday to Friday, the rink is open from 14:00–20:00, unless there are school visits. Saturday and Sunday, it is open from 10:00–20:00. The ice rink is closed on 1 January.

Ice Rink Prices: Admission and Skate Rental

It costs DKK 55 to skate at the rink, and the price is the same for everyone.

• Admission including skate rental: DKK 55
• Admission with your own skates: DKK 55
• Skate aid rental: DKK 50
• Helmet rental: DKK 35

You can rent skates when you buy your admission ticket, or bring your own. If you’re new to the ice, you can also rent a skate aid and a helmet.
