The history of the Old Little Belt Bridge
The Old Little Belt Bridge was constructed between 1925 and 1935 and was initially simply called the Little Belt Bridge. The structure itself was a significant engineering achievement in the interwar period, and with the simultaneous introduction of new express trains, travel time between Jutland and the capital was significantly reduced.
When you go bridgewalking, you get up close to the structure, and the high architectural standard becomes even more evident when seen at close range.
