Nature experiences in the Trelde Forests and at Trelde Næs
The Nature Fund’s areas are located in the Trelde Forests, several of them within walking distance of the unique natural area Trelde Næs. You can therefore easily combine a visit to Trelde Næs with a walk in the forest areas of the Trelde Forests.
In cooperation with Fredericia Municipality, the Nature Fund aims to protect nature and create better biodiversity.
Visiting the Trelde Forests by bus, car or bicycle
If you wish to visit the forest areas within walking distance of Trelde Næs, you can park at the car park at Trelde Næs.
If, on the other hand, you want to visit the forest areas further west, parking options are more limited. In this case, it is easier to take a bicycle or city bus number 6, which stops at several locations along the road Trelde Næsvej.
Fredericia’s city buses are free of charge for everyone, making it easy to get out and experience nature.
About the Danish Nature Fund
The Danish Nature Fund was established in January 2015 by the Danish state, the VILLUM FOUNDATION and the Aage V. Jensen Nature Foundation. The Nature Fund secures more space for nature throughout Denmark by purchasing land where nature is restored and protected forever. All acquisitions are carried out through voluntary agreements with private landowners.
The Nature Fund is an independent, private, non-profit foundation whose aim is to create a Denmark with more space for wild animals and plants, where everyone can experience magnificent Danish nature on nature’s own terms.
