The Canal District is situated with Little Belt on one side and Fredericia center on the other. The harbor area, which formerly housed industry, is now transforming into a green and urban residential and living area with room to unfold.

The entire story around the Canal Distirct unfolds through 5 architectural focal points.

You start at Fisketorvet with the story of the industrial area that has become a vibrant neighborhood, and along the way, you'll also learn about climate protection and the special place of nature in the area. You'll also discover Fredericia's original master plan from the 17th century, which forms the basis for the Canal District, and a very special royal point.

Experience the City Walk alone or with your family - whenever you want

On the Canal District's architectural walk, you're not dependent on a guide - the tour takes place on your own, so you can go whenever you want!

You can follow the tour guide via the online map, or you can download the guide in advance or print it out and take it with you. It's the perfect way to experience the Canal District!
