Martina's Playground is just a stone's throw from the water's edge and with a direct view of the beautiful Little Belt, creating a unique opportunity to combine play on the playground with play on the beach and by the water. From Hyby Beach, you can follow the trail Strandstien, which takes you further around to Østerstrand, Fredericia's urban beach, from where there is only a short distance to Fredericia's cozy town center.

Martina's Playground is inspired by life by the belt and everything that belongs to maritime life. On the playground, you can take a ride on a porpoise or imagine sailing on the Little Belt. Maybe you can even spot a real porpoise through the play ship's telescope! You can also take a roll in a large eel trap or play on the playground's water course, which is easily filled with water from the beach.
Visit Nature Center Lundingsvej and borrow equipment from the equipment bank
Martina's Playground is right next to Nature Center Lundingsvej, which is open every day. In the nature center, you can learn more about the animal and plant life by the Little Belt, and you can also borrow various tools such as sand play equipment and buckets from the nature center's equipment bank. Just remember to return them to the equipment bank when you're done.

In addition to being filled with fun play equipment, there is also a special focus on biodiversity at Martina's Playground. The playground is located in Nature Park Lillebælt, and part of the playground is designed to grow wild with beautiful plants and colorful flowers to promote wild nature and provide particularly good habitats for insects and animals.
