Shelter site at the northernmost point of Lillebælt Nature Park
The shelter site is a quiet oasis on the edge of Nature Park Lillebælt and is actually the park’s northernmost point. Your neighbor is the charming Kringsminde Farm Museum, where you can experience authentic agricultural culture while sleeping with views of the fields.
Experience authentic farming culture at Kringsminde Farm Museum
Kringsminde Farm Museum tells the story of Danish rural life from 1850–1950, with animals in the pastures, vegetable gardens, herb gardens, and dedicated volunteers preserving traditional practices. Here, you can get up close to the history and daily life of the Danish countryside.
Explore beautiful nature at Rands Fjord
From the shelter site, follow scenic nature trails through the landscape down to Rands Fjord, where you can encounter rich wildlife and the impressive sea eagles that inhabit the area.
Close to the shelter site, you’ll also find one of Fredericia’s beautiful wooden sculptures.
Near the beach and local amenities
The shelter site is only about 5 km from Bøgeskov Beach, one of Fredericia’s lovely natural beaches with Blue Flag status, perfect for a swim.
You’re also just 2 km from the local Egeskov Grocery Store, ideal if you need provisions for your stay!
Information
Shelters: Two shelters are available: Kamma and Christian, each accommodating up to 5 people.
Booking: The cost to book a shelter is 40 DKK per night.
